Type diskpart and press Enter.
Type list disk – note the disk number of your USB drive (e.g., Disk 1). Be careful not to select your main hard drive. bootable flash drive windows 7

The tool will format the drive and make it bootable automatically. Wait for the status to show “Backup completed” (or similar completion message). select partition 1 Mark it as active: Type
Launch the tool and click Browse to select your Windows 7 ISO file. Click Next .
