Slowly pour 1 cup of white vinegar down the drain. Immediately cover the drain opening with a plug or a damp cloth to keep the reaction inside the pipe.
Sprinkle ½ cup of baking soda directly into the drain. For stubborn clogs, add 1 tablespoon of salt to boost abrasion.
Wait 15–30 minutes. You’ll hear fizzing and bubbling – that’s the mixture eating away the clog.
Boil a kettle of water and carefully pour it down the drain. The hot water will flush out the loosened debris.
