My first experiences with SC2 were toward the end of my elementary school, around 1995, before my family moved to another part of the country. I was like 13. Super Melee mode fun to play and the first thing that captured my interest, but soon after I decided to take a crack at the actual game. Almost instantly the Super Melee mode became irrelevant (I play it rarely nowadays), and in summers of 1996, 1997 and 1998 SC2 became THE game of my life, which it remains to this day. I really had problems finding my place in the new surrounding back then, and SC2 was a wonderful comfort...or maybe a distraction.

Like someone also said earlier, it was the first game and perhaps remains the only that caused such honest excitement. Truly brilliant and unmatched writing in computer games creates a live, important and almost tangible world. I love it!

For a moment, viewers fear he might return as a final villain. But the narrative subverts expectations. The Professor, having anticipated this, reveals that Gandia’s by the hydraulic press. Gandia is paralyzed from the neck down—a fate arguably worse than death for a man whose identity was his physical prowess. does gandia die

Here’s a write-up exploring the question, — with context, spoilers, and narrative analysis. Does Gandia Die? A Look at the Tenacious Assassin of La Casa de Papel (Money Heist) In the high-stakes world of La Casa de Papel (Money Heist), few antagonists inspire as much pure dread and frustration as Alicia Sierra’s brutal enforcer, Gandia . For fans watching the heist unfold, the question “Does Gandia die?” becomes not just a plot point, but a moral and emotional necessity. From that moment on, the question isn’t if

In , we see flashbacks revealing that Gandia survived his initial wounds long enough to be taken to a hospital. While in recovery, he is visited by Sierra , who offers him a deal: help her capture the Professor in exchange for a full pardon and medical treatment. But the narrative subverts expectations

Unlike previous antagonists (like the impulsive Berlin or the traumatized Palermo), Gandia has no code. He doesn’t want money or negotiation—he wants to systematically murder every member of the gang. His most heinous act? Shooting (Ágata Jiménez) in the chest during a hostage exchange, leading to her eventual, agonizing death in the bank’s laboratory.

Yes, Gandia dies. However, his death is neither quick nor easy, and it comes at a tremendous cost to the Professor’s team. The Build-Up: Why His Death Matters Gandia, a former CIA operative and head of security for the Bank of Spain, is introduced in Part 3 as a seemingly neutral security chief. But once the heist begins, he reveals himself as a cold, sadistic, and almost superhumanly resilient killer.

Yes! I actually missed that copy protection when I saw it wasn't there in UQM Tongue
It was sort of a small challenge and a fun start for the game...

Very few games could give me such a strong sense of nostalgia and fondness... SC2 and Thief: the Dark Project were the ones where this was most pronounced (not incidentally, these two are the best games of all time in my opinion Cheesy)
