“This took him six weeks,” Klaus said softly. “And when the client wanted a different motor, he had to redraw the entire page 4.”

Mira, his most determined but frustrated student, handed him the box. She was brilliant with theory—Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s rules, the physics of a relay—but her practical project was a mess.
