Jordan plays Georgie’s exhaustion with a weary dignity—he’s not a kid anymore, but he’s not quite a man. Osment captures Mandy’s regret without making her unlikeable.
The final shot of Mandy looking at the TV station application while Georgie sleeps on the couch tells you everything. The marriage isn't over. But the crack in the foundation just got a lot wider.
