Maya didn’t look up. “Did you try the mirror site?”
“It doesn’t need to,” Maya replied. She pulled out a Raspberry Pi from her backpack. “We’re not unblocking the game, Leo. We’re unblocking you .”
“One rep,” she said. “No lag. No blockers. Just you against the algorithm.”
By the fifth rep, the skeleton looked like a normal kid.
“It’s over,” Leo muttered. “They blocked the domain.”
Leo slammed his locker shut. His best friend, Maya, was already lacing up her sneakers.
“This doesn’t even turn on,” Leo said.
