jBridge (short for "Java Bridge") is a commercial software application developed by Jean-Philippe (known as "j") that acts as a compatibility layer for VST plugins. Its primary function is to allow a 32-bit VST plugin to run inside a 64-bit DAW, or a 64-bit plugin to run inside a 32-bit DAW. It also solves the related problem of memory limitations in 32-bit environments.
