: There is no standalone "MS-Gaming Overlay" download. If you saw a third-party site offering an .exe by that name, do not download it – it's likely malware. Always use Windows Settings or the official Microsoft Store.
Note:
SmartScreen on Windows prevents newly released software to be installed till they become trustworthy. So, Windows SmartScreen may prevent VMR Connect to run, follow the instructions below to run VMR Connect (On Windows SmartScreen Click ‘More Info’ -> ‘Run anyway’ ).
