I came across an old folder on my hard drive today, simply labeled: So here’s to 2008
At first, I thought — right, that’s when the photo was taken. simply labeled: At first
But then it hit me: “taken” can mean something else entirely.
But looking closer at those grainy digital photos from 2008 — cheap digicam, bad flash, too much grain — I see something else.
