She returned to her bench. She did not deliver a long speech. She wrote a single line on the verdict scroll: “Kael,” she said softly, “did you ever touch this cup

The chamber gasped. She walked slowly to the center of the floor, her robe whispering against the stone. She stopped before Kael. ” she said softly

“Never, Your Honor.”
